The ancient Greeks believed there were seven wonders of the world. In the 21st century only one of those original wonders is still in existence,In 2001 a competition was held to decide on the modern world's interpretation of the world's seven wonders. Luckily there are many worthy replacements. Here then are the eight wonders of the world.
